The Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development (CMEPD) Center at Al Ahsa hospital receives accreditation from the Saudi Heart Association (SHA) for providing the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course
On January 5th, 2021, after successfully completing the hands-on required training sessions along with much hard work, dedication, perseverance, and commitment, our Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development (CMEPD) center has been accredited by the Saudi Heart Association (SHA) as an affiliated center for providing the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course.
The (PALS) certification course aims to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes.
The center provides the following continuing medical education courses, after which certificates of completion approved by the Saudi Heart Association (SHA) will be granted:
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Heartsaver (HS)/ First Aid (FA).
