On Wednesday 20 Shawwal 1439 AH, corresponding to July 4th, 2018, a follow-up meeting on the training of students of the College of Medicine at King Faisal University took place at Al Ahsa Hospital. The attendees from the administration of the College of Medicine at King Faisal University were Prof.Dr. Mohamed Al-Farhan, Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mulhim, Head of Surgery Department and Chairman of the Curriculum Committee, Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Khan, Head of Family and Community Medicine Department and Curriculum Coordinator, and Dr. Mohammed Yasser Daoud, Assistant Professor and Consultant at the Surgery Department. The meeting was also attended by the student training supervisory team at Al Ahsa Hospital represented by Dr. Maher Jamal Eddine, Executive Director, Dr. Fadi Aoun, Medical Director, Dr. Hisham Hussein Imam, Chief of Medical Staff and Student Training Coordinator, and Mr. Hisham Boudai, Public Relations Manager.
The executive director of Al Ahsa Hospital, Dr. Maher Jamal Eddine, opened the meeting by welcoming the administration of the College of Medicine at King Faisal University. The Dean of the College then delivered a speech in which he thanked the administration of Al Ahsa Hospital for the great efforts and hard work in training the students.
The representatives of the administration of the College of Medicine also expressed the complete satisfaction of the College students and the teaching staff with the excellent training provided at Al Ahsa Hospital, and the student training supervisory team at the hospital, in turn, declared their full contentment with student performance during the training program.
Finally, both parties discussed ways to strengthen the existing cooperation and partnership to the benefit of the community, and they agreed to intensify meetings and develop further mechanisms to ensure the full benefit of students from the clinical training at Al Ahsa Hospital.
