The pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at Al Ahsa hospital, is an area specializing in the care of critically ill infants, children, and teenagers.

Our multidisciplinary team care for infants, children and young people up to age 13 who are critically ill or injured or who have had complex surgery.

Our consultants and nurses are experts in pediatrics and certified in pediatric critical care medicine and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) & available 24 hours a day.

The unit is equipped with most advanced technology to support our staff in providing the best care for your child so he can achieve the best outcomes possible from critical illness or injury.
